Women’s history comes alive in a collection of voices
March 15, 2018
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus is celebrating women’s history month with a variety of events this March. These events include panel discussions about women’s issues, film and spoken word programs all aimed at giving a voice to women, while celebrating their accomplishments throughout history. The latest event in the series, “Spoken Word for Womyn’s History Month: A Collection of Voices” hosted 14 speakers in The Cabin who read original and classic poems highlighting the oppression women have dealt with for decades.
