Unemployment reaches record low in Wisconsin
April 7, 2018
Wisconsin unemployment has reached record lows according to the Department of Workforce Development (DWD). An unemployment of 2.9 percent is the lowest since the Bureau of Labor Statistics began collecting data for the state in 1976.
Scott Hodek, a section chief of the Office of the Economic Advisors of the Wisconsin DWD says the unemployment rate should level out, but it could still go lower.
