Eau Claire County Humane Association celebrated their 50th anniversary in October along with Adopt-a-Dog month.

The general public was welcome to join the Eau Claire County Humane Association in celebrating 50 years as a successful animal shelter this past October. Many applications for dog adoptions were accepted, Executive Director Shelley Janke said, during Adopt-a-Dog month in October as well. Janke and local animal control officer Shoua Vue said controlling the animal population is healthy and an important part of giving misplaced dogs a voice.
