Importance of staying active as you age

With only 23 percent of Americans meeting health standards for the time spent exercising, there is a big push for aging individuals to stay active. A University of Southern California study found that doing three hours of exercise a week increases a person’s lifespan by five years. Experts say that it is not just physical health, but mental health is incredibly important as you age too.
